On Friday, Gujarat High Court's Acting Chief Justice Biren Vaishnav participated in the World Down Syndrome Day celebration alongside the employees and staff of Mitti Café within the court premises.

Today, March 21, marks World Down Syndrome Day.

Justice Vaishnav commemorated the occasion by cutting a cake and distributing chocolates with the specially-abled staff.

In November last year, Chief Justice Sunita Agarwal inaugurated Mitti Café at the Gujarat High Court premises. This unique initiative promotes inclusivity by empowering individuals with physical or intellectual disabilities. Operated entirely by specially-abled staff, the café offers them employment opportunities after specialized training in café management.
