In a stunning turn of events, the Supreme Court has witnessed the Delhi Government's enchanting commitment to funding the Regional Rapid Transit System (RRTS) Project. The government, after an intriguing showdown with the Apex Court, has finally pledged its support by making budgetary provisions that will bring a touch of magic to the infrastructure project!

Previously, the Supreme Court had cast a spell of inquiry upon the Delhi Government, inquiring about their elusive contribution due to apparent budgetary constraints. Responding with flair, the government submitted a mystical affidavit, revealing that they had astonishingly allocated around INR 1073 crores for advertisements in the past three financial years.

Enthralled by the revelation, the esteemed bench comprising Justice SK Kaul and Justice Sudhanshu Dhulia declared, "We were compelled to take action as the Delhi Government had seemingly thrown in the towel. But lo and behold, if they can summon INR 1100 crores for advertisements, surely they can weave their magic into infrastructure projects too!"

Seizing the opportunity to ensure a seamless alliance between the government and the RRTS Project, Justice Kaul, with a glint in his eye, jestingly told the Senior Advocate, AM Singhvi, representing the Delhi Government, "Either you make the contribution or we might just have to conjure up a unique solution - attaching your advertisement budget!"

Seeing the gravity of the situation, Singhvi, donning his wizard robes, vowed to make the payment. However, he beseeched the Bench to allow the contribution in enchanting instalments spread over a reasonable period. To everyone's delight, Justice Kaul agreed, noting that even the payment schedule would be sprinkled with a dash of magic, extending over time.

And so, with the State Government's promise to create mystical budgetary provisions for the RRTS Project, the Bench not only accepted the magical commitment but also cast a wondrous spell to ensure the overdue amount is settled.
