Supreme Court takes measures to make friendly entry & exit for differently abled persons into Court premises

Today, the Supreme Court of India issued a notice in which the Court has taken another measure of steps to make entry & exit into Court premises for differently-abled persons friendly.

Such measures include tactile path (for use of visually impaired persons) on the road of the Supreme Court premises, earmarked car parking in front of Gate C-In and D-In etc.

However, it has come to notice that the vehicles are being parked on the tactile paths and on the space earmarked for parking of vehicles by differently-abled persons.

In order to have an unhindered and convenient movement for the differently abled persons in the Supreme Court premises, the Competent Authority has directed that no vehicle(s) be parked on the tactile path and/or in the earmarked car parking for differently-abled persons in front of C-In Gate and D-In Gate.
