The Supreme Court has rolled out the transcript of the arguments on its website. The transcript has been uploaded of day -1 (18-April-2023) of the arguments. The transcript runs into total of 76 pages and 2717 lines. The transcript includes the arguments of both sides as well as whatever has been said by the judges.
This is in the furtherance of the initiative taken by the Chief Justice of India Dr. DY Chanddrachud towards transparency in the court proceedings.
A constitution bench of the Supreme Court is hearing the same sex marriage case headed by CJI Dr. DY Chandrachud of which Justices Sanjay Kishan Kaul, S. Ravindra Bhat, Hima Kohli and P.S. Narasimha are the members.
