The Supreme Court on Monday extended the interim bail granted to Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) leader and former Delhi minister Satyendar Jain on medical grounds in the money laundering case till October 18.
A bench of Justices S Bopanna and Bela M Trivedi has listed the matter for further hearing on October 18. The court said that the matter should be listed on October 18 at 3 pm as the matter cannot be considered today.
The court said that the interim bail granted earlier has been extended till the next date of hearing i.e. October 18, 2023. Jain underwent surgery on July 21. The interim bail granted to him on medical grounds has been extended from time to time.
On May 26, the Supreme Court had granted interim bail to Satyendra Jain for six weeks in the money laundering case, but had imposed conditions that he should not talk to the media or leave Delhi without permission.
