SC declares AOR Exam result: Supreme Court to get 260 new Advocate-on-Record

The Supreme Court of India has declared AOR examination 2022 result. 

Total 260 advocates have cleared the exam and will become Advocate on Record. The exams took place in December, 2022. Total of 815 candidates have taken the exam. Total 93 students have been permitted to re-appear for the next term.

To file Valakatnama and act as an advocate before the Supreme Court, it is necessary to clear AOR examination.

There are four papers in the exam i.e. Drafting, Leading cases, practice & Procedure, and Professional Ethics.

Other than clearing the exam, an Advocate on Record is required to have an office with a radius of 16 Km and has to have a clear at any point of time.

Mr. Geet Ahuja and Mr. Anmol Anand jointly have scored 316 marks 400 who are the toppers.
