Yesterday, Congress Minister, Rahul Gandhi approaches the Patna High Court seeking the quashing of orders issued in the 2019 defamation case filed against him by Bhartiya Janta Party (BJP) leader Sushil Kumar Modi.

The bench headed by Justice Sandeep Kumar agreed to hear a plea filed by Gandhi. 

Last month, in March, Patna Court directed Gandhi to appear before it physically on April 12, so as to record his statement under Section 313 of the Criminal Procedure Code (CrPC) in the defamation case.
