A woman from Lakhimpur had a date for mediation on Friday in the Lucknow High Court in a dispute over dowry demand from her husband. The woman reached the High Court for reconciliation with her in-laws. But here her husband Lalit Mohan Jaiswal started fighting with her in the High Court. It is alleged that during this time the enraged husband dragged her by pulling her hair and threatened to cut her into 70 pieces and throw her in the Gomti River. The victim gave a complaint to the Vibhutikhand police station on the inhuman act by her husband and in-laws in the court premises. The station in-charge registered an NCR against the accused husband and others in the case. At the same time, due to no police action against the accused, the victim and her family are in danger of life. The victim has demanded justice in the case.
It is worth mentioning that last year the woman from Lakhimpur was married to Lalit Mohan Jaiswal, who lives in Lucknow. After the marriage, husband and in-laws were demanding land and five lakh rupees in dowry from the daughter-in-law. Regarding this, the victim woman had filed a dowry case against her husband and in-laws. In this matrimonial dispute, the case is going on in the Lucknow bench of Allahabad High Court regarding the agreement between the two in the Mediation (Family Court). It is alleged that when the woman came here on a date on Friday, the husband thrashed her and threatened to kill her and throw her into Gomti. The victim woman has expressed dissatisfaction over the police action in this case.
