Gyanvapi Majid | Muslim Committee approaches Varanasi Court to restrain media from publishing 'false news' about the ongoing ASI Survey

Today, the Anjuman Intezamia Masjid Committee, approaches the Varanasi court urging it to restrict media from spreading inaccurate information on the ongoing Archeological Survey of India (ASI) survey in mosque premises.

The application has been moved in ongoing Shringar Gauri Worshipping case of 2022 filed by 4 Hindu Women Worshippers seeking year-round access to worship inside the Mosque premises.

In its application, the Muslim Party urges ASI and its members to not made any statement or leak any information on any prit media or social media.

Currently, the ASI has ASI conducting a scientific survey of the Gyanvapi complex in Varanasi .

Recenty Varanasi Court directed to conduct the survey.

Earlier Anjuman Intezamia Masjid Committee's challenge to the Varanasi District Judge's July 21 order for ASI Survey of the Gyanvapi Mosque, the Masjid Committee moved the Supreme Court.

On August 4, the Supreme Court refused to stop the Archaeological Survey of India (ASI) from carrying out a survey of the Gyanvapi Mosque at Varanasi.
