Delhi HC issued directive: Muslim man accused of forced religious conversion to delete all social media posts related to woman within 48 hours

Delhi High Court issued a directive to a Muslim man accused of forced religious conversion to delete all social media posts related to a woman within 48 hours.

The accused allegedly posted videos of the woman on multiple online platforms.

The case was initiated when Azmat Ali Khan filed a plea seeking the removal of news items and videos against him on online platforms following an FIR lodged against him by a Delhi-based woman.

The court had previously directed certain news channels and social media platforms, including Sudarshan News, YouTube, Google, and Twitter, to block links to news reports alleging forced conversion by Khan.

During a recent hearing, Google and Twitter confirmed their compliance with the court's order, and Justice Prathiba M Singh instructed Khan to take the court's order seriously and delete the social media posts as well.
