The Central Government on Friday notified the appointment of two advocates and one judicial officer as judges of the Telangana High Court.

The judicial officer recommended is Sujana Kalasikam while the advocates are Laxminarayana Alishetty and Anil Kumar Jukanti.

Union Minister of State with Independent Charge of the Law & Justice Ministry, Arjun Ram Meghwal, tweeted the development.

The Supreme Court Collegium had in its resolution dated July 12 recommended their appointment as High Court judges.

The Telangana High Court, which has a sanctioned strength of 42 judges, is currently functioning with 28 judges.
