On Tuesday, a gathering of police officers and legal professionals convened at the Agar Malwa District Court in Madhya Pradesh. Several high-ranking police officials were present at the court, where the focus of attention was an incident involving the purported throwing of a shoe at the judge.
SDOP Agar Motilal Kushwaha reported that District and Additional Judge Pradeep Dubey, stationed at the Agar Malwa District Court, filed a complaint with the police. He alleged that during the cross-examination proceedings in court, Agar Malwa lawyer Nitin Atal attempted to forcibly take the power of attorney from his possession.
In addition to the aforementioned incident, as tensions escalated, lawyer Nitin Atal went on to throw a shoe at Judge Pradeep Dubey. The judge further disclosed that, before anyone could grasp the situation, the lawyer swiftly fled from the scene.
Following Judge Pradeep Dubey's complaint, the police took action and registered a case against lawyer Atal under multiple sections of the Indian Penal Code (IPC), including charges related to obstruction in official work and indecent behavior.
