Second Monday of April every year if the day when all the Court in Rajasthan including High Court go for morning sessions. This year it is today the 10th April, the time of subordinate courts, including the High Court will change as per notification until 23 July 2023. During this period, the timing of judicial work will be from 8:00 am to 1:00 pm, the office hours will be from 7:30 am to 1:00 pm.
As per the notification, the court timings in the subordinate courts will be from 8:00 am to 12:30 pm. Office time will be from 7:30 am to 1 pm. Work in chambers will be from 7:30 am to 8 am and 12:30 pm to 1 pm. During this, the presiding officers will work in their chambers.
The revised timings for both the Rajasthan High Court and subordinate courts have been implemented to ensure that all parties are able to carry out their duties efficiently and effectively. By scheduling court proceedings and office work during the early hours of the day, when temperatures are relatively lower, it is hoped that all involved will be able to perform their duties without compromising their health or safety.
During summers Rajasthan records the highest temperature which goes above 50 degrees Celsius, therefore, keeping in mind the same, the timing are rescheduled every year.
