Yesterday, the Rouse Avenue Court postponed the transfer petition hearing in connection with jailed Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) leader Satyender Jain in a corruption and money laundering case.
Earlier, the hearing of Jain’s plea was scheduled for Thursday however, as a District Judge was not available to hear the case, the hearing has been pushed to June 9. Last month, Jain asked a Delhi court to transfer two cases related to alleged corruption and money laundering brought against him by the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) and the Enforcement Directorate (ED) to another judge.
