Virtual-only Court in Bikaner: opposed by Lawyers Body in Jodhpur & Udaipur

The announcement of the Virtual-only Bench of the Rajasthan High Court at Bikaner has been celebrated in Bikaner City Court and has been heavily opposed by the Lawyers Body in Jodhpur and Udaipur.

Recently the Law Minister for the Union of India Sh, Arjun Ram Meghwal announced that the Central Government is in the advanced process of starting a Virtual-only Bench of the High Court in Bikaner.

The District Bar Association, Udaipur has called upon abstaining from work on 21.08.2023 opposing the announcement of the bench. The lawyer's body would also take out a procession.

The Law Advice has also come to know that the members of the Rajasthan High Court Lawyers' Association and Rajasthan High Court Advocates' Association, Jodhpur has written a letter to the Chief Justice of India and Law Minister Sh. Arjun Ram Meghwal opposing the decision and a request has been made to review and reconsider the decision. Lawyers Association in Jodhpur also have called for abstainment from work on 21.08.2022.

Would Bikaner be first Virtual High Court Bench in India was reported recently by 'The Law Advice. when the Law minister has given an interview to a reputed media house "Dainik Bhaskar".
