Vashi Court becomes country’s first digital court: Justice Gautam Patel

Recently, Justice Gautam Patel, an honorable Bombay High Court Judge, appreciated the work done by the lawyers association and informed that Vashi Court in Maharashtra has become the first digital court in the country. The court proceedings will be paperless and digitized, without any problem. 

In the presence of Bombay High Court Justice Gautam Patel and Justice Gauri Godse and under the chairmanship of Thane District Sessions Judge Abhay Mantri, the Additional Sessions Court was inaugurated on Friday by Senior Legal Practitioner PC Patil, while Civil Court Senior Level was inaugurated by Assistant Superintendent B. T. Shelar. The ribbon was cut by former Chairman and Member of Maharashtra and Goa Bar Council Gajnan Chavan, Adv. Sudip Pasbola, Thane District Collector Ashok Shingare, Commissioner of Navi Mumbai Municipal Corporation Rajesh Narvekar, President of Navi Mumbai Court Bar Association Sunil Mokal and other dignitaries were present on this occasion.

Justice Patel further added, that all those sitting on the platform are public servants working to protect the interests of the people. Justice Gauri Godse expressed his opinion that the city of Navi Mumbai is developing rapidly and the court cases are also increasing. Therefore, it is hoped that the maximum number of cases will be disposed of in a good atmosphere from this court.

Former chairman and member of Maharashtra and Goa Bar Council, Gajnan Chavan, and Mumbai Court Bar Association President Sunil Mokal also expressed their thoughts on the occasion.
