Supreme Court refused to take on record a report published by Forbes in the Adani-Hindenburg case

The Supreme Court on Monday declined to enter a ruling in the Adani-Hindenburg case based on a Forbes article regarding the Gautam Adani group's stock transactions.

A bench headed by the Chief Justice of India had reserved decisions on February 17 regarding the formation of a committee to assess the regulatory measures in order to safeguard Indian investors.

On February 20, Advocate Varun Thakur, the attorney for Dr. Jaya Thakur, one of the petitioners, asked the bench to record the Forbes report because it had already been released.
