Dr. Adish Aggarwala, Senior Advocate won the Supreme Court Bar Association Election held yesterday. He defeated his Senior Counsel Dushyant Dave by 191 votes. Advocate Rohit Pandey is elected as Secretary of the SCBA.

Dr. Aggarwala secured 668 votes as against Dave's 477.

Senior Advocates Ajit Kumar Sinha, Dushyant Dave, Dr Adish Aggarwala and Rakesh Kumar Khanna, and advocates Neeraj Srivastava, Dr Parvin Mutreja and Yagya Deo Sharma were contesting for the post of president of SCBA.

Where Dr Adish Agarwal secured 668; Dushyant Dave got 477 and the rest of the candidates got the votes in the following numbers:

• Rakesh Khanna - 426;
• Ranjit Kumar - 304;
• Ajit Kumar Sinha - 144.

Senior Advocate Sukumar Pattjoshi was elected the Vice President.

Mr Rohit Pandey was elected as Secretary.

Mr Meenesh Dubey was elected as Joint Secretary.

Ms Yugandhara Pawar Jha was elected as Treasurer.

Mr Amrender Kumar Singh was elected as Joint Treasurer.
