SC to hear Uddhav and Sharad Pawar factions' MLAs disqualification pleas on Monday

The Supreme Court is set to review petitions on October 30th filed by the Uddhav Thackeray faction of the Shiv Sena and the Sharad Pawar bloc of the NCP. These petitions seek a directive for the Maharashtra assembly speaker to promptly make decisions regarding disqualification cases against certain MLAs.

A panel led by Chief Justice of India D. Y. Chandrachud is slated to consider two distinct petitions submitted by both the factions.

The Supreme Court is due to resume proceedings following a one-week break for the Dussehra holiday.
