The Supreme Court has issued a circular today on 17.08.2023 for the listing of fresh matters.

The Circular reads as under:-

It is hereby notified to Members of Bar, Party-in-persons' and all concerned that the Competent Authority has been pleased to direct as follows:-

(i) henceforth, fresh matters verified on Friday, Saturday and Monday shall be listed on the following Friday.
(ii) fresh matters verified on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday shall be listed on Monday in the following week; and
(iii) in case, there are excess fresh matters, the same shall be listed on the following Tuesday.

As per the prevailing system the cases 

Matters verified on Saturday, Monday and Tuesday used to get listed the matter next Monday and matters verified on Wednesday, Thursday and Friday used to get listed on the matter next Friday.
