When the General meeting of the Rajasthan Bar Council was held on 08.01.2023 under the Chairmanship of Sunil Beniwal in the auditorium of the Bar Council of Rajasthan at Jodhpur, the general assembly unanimously elected Additional Advocate General, Govt. of Rajasthan Ghanshyam Singh Rathore as Chairman of the Bar Council of Rajasthan. Rathore is practicing in Jaipur before the Rajasthan High Court bench Jaipur.

Other than the new Chairman, co-chairman Baljinder Singh Sandhu and Bhuvnesh Sharma were elected unopposed. While Singh is practicing at Jodhpur, Sharma is practicing at Jaipur.

President Rathore is the son of Ranjit Singh, former MLA of the Rajasthan Legislative Assembly. Rathore started his practice in 1989 after graduating from Rajasthan University.
