The Central government has notified the transfer of Justice Atul Sreedharan from the Madhya Pradesh High Court to the High Court of Jammu & Kashmir and Ladakh.

Justice Sreedharan had sought the transfer on grounds of his daughter entering law practice in Madhya Pradesh, a request that the Supreme Court Collegium accepted in March.

Union Law Minister Kiren Rijiju tweeted the news on Thursday.
