Scotland's Government has passed a law that would make it easier for transgender people to change their gender legally. This law smooths the path to acquire driving licenses, birth certificates and other official documents that match their gender identities.
Scotland becomes the 10th country in Europe to implement this policy by an Act of parliament by voting 86 to39. Denmark was the first country to make this legislation in 2014.
Earlier transgender people has to wait for 2 years for getting certified for their transaction by diagnosing with gender dysphoria.
