After the Central Government notified the appointment of two judges for elevation to the Supreme Court, Justice Ujjal Bhuyan and SV Bhatti will take oath tomorrow.

As per the notification issued by the Supreme Court of India, the Oath will take place at 10:00 AM on Friday the 14th July 2023.

The oath will take place at the Auditorium 3rd Floor, 'C' Block Additional Building Complex, Supreme Court of India.

Justice Bhuyan was the Chief Justice of Telangana High Court and Justice Bhatti was the Chief Justice of the Kerala High Court.

After the appointment of these two judges, the strength of the Supreme Court would reach to 32. Presently there ar 30 judges in the Supreme Court.
