The Food Safety and Standards Authority of India (FSSAI) is inviting applications for the position of Legal Consultant on a short-term contract basis. The successful candidate will be stationed at our headquarters in New Delhi.

Educational Qualification:

• Essential: Bachelor's Degree in Law from a recognized University established or incorporated by or under a Central Act, or any institution for higher education deemed to be a University by the Central Government, or any other institution or foreign university approved by the Central government.
• Minimum 7 years of experience in the legal field.
• Desirable: Master's Degree in Law (LLM)/Ph.D. in Law.

Remuneration:

• Consolidated monthly remuneration of Rs. 70,000-80,000/- depending upon qualification, experience, and the assessment/recommendation of the Selection Committee.
• 5% annual increment applicable only if the contract is extended beyond 1 year from the date of appointment in FSSAI.

Method of Recruitment: The selection process involves an interview at the FSSAI (HQ), New Delhi. The date and time for the interview will be communicated to the shortlisted candidates.
