Former Advocate General of Kerala KP Dandapani Passes Away

Today, Former Advocate General of Kerala KP Dandapani passed away. 

Back in 2011-2016, he served as Advocate General of Kerala. Dandapani enrolled as an advocate in the late 1960s after graduating from the Ernakulam Government Law College. He started his career as a practising Advocate along with his wife Senior Advocate Sumathi Dandapani who continues to practice before the Kerala High Court.

In 1996, Dandapani was appointed a judge of the Kerala High Court but he resigned after five months when he was transferred to the Gujarat High Court.

He also served as the standing counsel for many organisations including the National Institute of Technology Kozhikode, Greater Cochin Development Authority, and KITEX companies, among many others.
