The court of Additional District & Sessions Judge, Bikaner in Rajasthan has sentenced 18 persons to life imprisonment, including four women in the case of the killing of three people in 2008 in Ridi village of Bikaner over a personal dispute. Out of 22 accused persons 4 (Four) have been acquitted in this case.
The court convicted the accused in the case of murder. Deceased Trilok Nath, Lalnath and Ruparam were killed in the dispute. More than 20 were accused in the case. The court sentenced Prabhuram, Mamraj, Nanuram, Hariram, Gopalram, Om Prakash Shravan Ram, Lichchuram, Bhairaram, Rameshwar Lal, Dharmaram, Mohanram, Dularam, Budharam and Lichchuram to life imprisonment. The four women found guilty of murder are Aashi, Parameshwari, Sohani and Rami.
It is one of the highest people convicted by any court in Bikaner over the past few years for a single incident. These people have been convicted under section 302/149 IPC.
