Delhi High Court to hear plea seeking relaxation for JEE Advanced 2023 on April 17
Recently, Delhi High Court heard a plea seeking a compensatory attempt for the JEE Advanced 2023. During the hearing, the court was informed that a reply was filed in the matter, however, it is not on record.
The petition was moved by the 67 students who completed their Class 12 in the year 2021 who were impacted by Covid 19 pandemic and could not use their opportunity for JEE (Advanced) Examination.
Further, the petition demands that these students should be allowed to appear for a "compensatory attempt".
The plea seeks relaxation of the "Two attempts in Two consecutive years" criteria so that the students who could not appear once or even twice in 2021 and 2022, be allowed to appear in 2023 as a special provision or compensatory attempt. The court has now granted 7 days to the petitioner to file a rejoinder and the next hearing will be heard on April 17, 2023.
The matter will be now listed on April 17, 2023, and heard by the Delhi High Court. Check here for the latest updates on the hearing
