Delhi High Court introduced Hindi Version of it's Judgement for Better Understanding

NEW DELHI: Recently, Delhi High Court has made some changes by introducing the Hindi Version of some of its judgement for a better understanding of the People.  The dual bench was headed by Chief Justice Satish Chandra Sharma and Justice Subramonium Prasad.

A total of 7 judgements are being translated into the Hindi Language from January 01 to February 28, 2023. This is done through the AI Tool called “Supreme Court Vidhik Anuvaad Software (SUVAS)”. The tool was designed in such a way that it can translate English documents, orders or judgments in nine vernacular languages scripts and vice versa.

The disclaimer was also given at the end of every judgement the translation in vernacular language is made for the “restricted use of the litigant” to understand it in his or her own language and “may not be used for any other purpose.”

“For all practical and official purposes, the English version of the judgment shall be authentic and shall hold the field for the purpose of execution and implementation,” the disclaimer states.
