A Delhi Court on Tuesday directed the registration of an FIR against former Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal over allegations of public property defacement.  

The order was passed by Additional Chief Judicial Magistrate (ACJM) Nishant Garg on a complaint filed by Shiv Kumar Saxena. The court has asked Delhi Police to submit a compliance report by March 18, the next hearing date.  

The complaint accuses Kejriwal and others of violating the Delhi Prevention of Defacement of Property Act, 2007, by putting up illegal hoardings in Dwarka.
