Death threats in Elvish Yadav case: Petitioner moves Delhi HC

In a dramatic turn of events, Gaurav Gupta, the complainant in the case against Elvis Yadav and others involved in organizing snakebite parties with foreign girls in Noida, has approached the Delhi High Court seeking security due to continuous death threats. Gupta, who serves as the Animal Welfare Officer of the PFA organization, initially reported the case to the Noida police, leading to the revelation of these disturbing parties.

The petition filed in the Delhi High Court by Gaurav Gupta is centered around his plea for security, as he claims to be under the constant threat of harm. Notably, this case pertains to the registration of charges against Elvis Yadav, a renowned YouTuber and winner of Bigg Boss OTT-2, along with six known individuals and several unidentified ones. They stand accused of violating the Wildlife Protection Act by hosting rave parties in Noida, which allegedly involved inviting foreign girls and using poisonous snake venom for intoxication.

The Noida police has also taken proactive steps in the investigation. They issued a notice to Elvis Yadav, urging his participation in the inquiry regarding the suspected use of snake venom in these so-called "rave parties." As of November 3, five individuals have been arrested in connection with the case, and Yadav's involvement is under scrutiny under the provisions of the Wildlife (Protection) Act of 1972.

According to law enforcement, the investigation unveiled a disturbing scene at one of these parties, where nine snakes, including five cobras, were found in a banquet hall, and a suspicious 20-milliliter quantity of venom was seized.

A senior officer from the Noida police has confirmed that Yadav received a notice under Section 41 of the Criminal Procedure Code (CRPC), requiring his cooperation in the ongoing investigation. Furthermore, the police have also sought custody of the five accused who were arrested last week in connection with the case. Notably, the responsibility for the case, which was initially lodged at the local Sector 49 police station, has now been transferred to another police station in Noida.

Elvis Yadav, who is 26 years old, has vehemently denied all allegations against him and has expressed his willingness to cooperate fully with the police investigation. The case continues to unfold as authorities delve deeper into the troubling allegations surrounding these snakebite parties in Noida.
