Today, the Chief Justice of India DY Chandrachud has inaugurates the Cafe managed By Handicapped person.  The cafe is situated in the Supreme Court Compound right in front of the Chief Justice Court. The name given to the Cafe is "Mitti Cafe". This is a chain of Cafes run by Mitti- Social Initiative Foundation.

Small cultural ceremony was arranged for the occasion, featuring a performance by individuals with disabilities. Notably, the national anthem was also beautifully rendered in sign language.

At the inaugural ceremony, the Chief Justice of India (CJI) extended a request to all attendees, encouraging them to visit the cafe and lend their support to this commendable initiative.

It is also noteworthy that CJI Chandrachud is the father to two adopted differently-abled girl daughters.
