Chief Justice urges advocates to appear virtually

In the wake of rising cases of Corona Virus in the country, the Chief Justice of India DY Chandrachud urged all the advocates to appear online.

This remark of the CJI came when Sr. Advocate Indira Jaisingh mentioned a matter before the bench headed by the Chief Justice of India. When Jaisingh had a cough, CJI Chandrchud suggested the advocates to opt for virtual hearing.

It is noteworthy that the CJI has been advocating for Virtual Hearing throughout. Recently CJI also requested all the High Courts to continue the virtual hearing mode.
