The central Government has notified the names of Justices Rajesh Bindal and Aravind Kumar to be appointed as Supreme Court justices. The swearing-in ceremony of both judges would take place on Monday in the Supreme Court at 10:30 AM in "C" Block Auditorium Additional Building Complex, Supreme Court.  Chief Justice of India Dr. DY Chandrachud would administer the oath to both judges.

The Supreme Court will have a full strength of 34 judges after their appointments. The Supreme Court last had all 34 of its judges on the bench from September 2019 through November 2019.
