The hearing of the Mathura-Vrindavan-based Banke Bihari Corridor construction case going on in the Allahabad High Court took a new turn on Tuesday. It was said on behalf of the servants that if the government provides them land then they will build a new temple for Banke Bihari ji and shift it.
However, objection was raised on this by the state government. It was said that the temple cannot be shifted under any circumstances. The hearing will also take place on Wednesday.
The PILs of Anant Sharma, Madhumangal Das and others are being heard by a division bench of Chief Justice Pritinkar Diwakar and Justice Ashutosh Srivastava.
Petitioner's advocate Shreya Gupta raised the demand to withdraw the degree passed by the Civil Court regarding Banke Bihari Temple.
Sevayat's advocate Sankalp Goswami opposed this. Said government to provide 10 acres of land. He will shift the temple of Banke Bihari ji. The temple is theirs, they are its owners. This will also not destroy the form of Kunj abuses. Everything will be safe.
The court wanted to know the stand of the state government on this proposal of services. But, this was opposed by the government. Chief Standing Advocate Kunal Ravi said that the temple of Banke Bihari ji will remain where it is. Cannot be shifted to another place. The hearing could not be completed due to paucity of time.
