On January 16, nine new judges were sworn in as Rajasthan High Court judges. Dr. Justice Nupur Bhati is one of them; she is the wife of serving Justice Pushpendra Singh Bhati, who is servingin the same High Court since 2016. However, this is not the first time in the Rajasthan High Court's history that a husband and wife team will be sitting on the Bench. When Justice Shubha Mehta took her oath as a judge in June 2022, the Rajasthan High Court had its first husband-wife duo serving as judges. Justice Shubha Mehta is married to Justice Mahendra Kumar Goyal, who was appointed to the Rajasthan High Court in November of this year. It appears that two husband-wife teams serving as Judges in the same High Court is a first.

The Rajasthan High Court has sanctioned a strength of 50 judges, including 38 permanent judges and 12 additional judges. Following the most recent appointments, the High Court now has 35 sitting judges.

In December 2020, a husband-wife team was sworn in as Madras High Court judges on the same day in 2019, a husband-wife team was sworn in as judges in the Punjab and Haryana High Court. They are Vivek Puri and Archana Puri, respectively.
