There is severe corruption in the Judiciary these days- Ashok Gehlot

Rajasthan Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot said today there is severe corruption in the Judiciary these days. I have heard that many lawyers write the judgment. What is this happening in the Judiciary? Be it lower judiciary or upper. Things are serious. Countrymen should think.

Gehlot was talking to the media in Jaipur. He said- The allegations made by BJP MLA Kailash Meghwal on Union Law Minister Arjun Ram Meghwal are correct. I have come to know that there was a lot of corruption during his (Arjun Ram Meghwal) time. It has been suppressed. These people have taken a stay from the High Court.

Gehlot said that he didn't care about anyone. We never follow anyone. I never interfere in Judiciary, RPSC, ACB. I have never interfered in the work of these institutions in my life. One should never do it.

Gehlot said- We would have helped in getting many High Court judges made. Those recommendations must have had value somewhere. Many would have become judges. After becoming a judge, I did not talk to those people for the rest of my life. I have my own approach.

25 years back the Chief Minister used to give recommendations to make a High Court judge. We have seen that era also. We were also MPs, Union ministers. There were many recommendations.

Gehlot said- RSS used to talk about its gait, character and face. People believed that RSS was a different kind of organization. He himself used to say that we are different. Where has his gait, character, face gone today?

Gehlot said- What is the condition of the investigating agencies today? CBI, ED, Income Tax are entering people's homes without making assessments. The officers of the investigating agencies should be asked that you are entering the houses on the orders from above without doing any investigation first. You have not identified the problem by doing assessment and are directly entering the houses. What is your conscience, your family, your conscience testifying to this?

It's time to think. They should clearly tell their superiors that they cannot do this. We are proud of our premier investigative agencies CBI and ED, but the Center has worsened their condition. The reputation of the agencies has been tarnished.
