Rajasthan High Court first to have second couple as judges

After the Supreme Court Collegium recommended the name of Advocate Nupur Bhati for elevation as Judge of Rajasthan High Court; Rajasthan High Court would be the first High Court in India to have two couples as judges in the same High Court. Husband of Advocate Nupur Bhati, Justice Sh. Pushpender Singh Bhati is presently serving as a Judge of the Rajasthan High Court.

Other than Bhati's, Justice Mahendra Kumar Goyal and Justice Shubha Mehta are also serving as judges of the Rajasthan High Court. Justice Goyal while coming from the cadre of direct elevation, Justice Metha has been elevated from the District Judiciary Cadre.
