On Friday, a Delhi court provided temporary relief by granting interim bail to former Bihar chief minister Rabri Devi along with her daughters Misa Bharti and Hema Yadav until February 28th in connection with the Railways land-for-job case.
Special Judge Vishal Gogne provided relief to the three individuals following a claim by the Enforcement Directorate (ED) stating their requirement for additional time to prepare arguments regarding their regular bail application.
The accused appeared before the court in response to the summons issued by the court, which was issued after the court had taken cognizance of the charge sheet filed by the Enforcement Directorate (ED) in the case.
During the proceedings, the court asked the ED why it needed the accused's custody when it had not arrested them during its investigation.
