Judge commits suicide in Uttar Pradesh's Badaun: ends Life at Official Residence

Today, a tragic incident occurred as a civil judge stationed in Badaun, Uttar Pradesh, took her own life at her official residence.

The judge, originally from Mau, had been fulfilling her duties in Badaun for a year. Concerns arose when her associates noticed a lack of response to knocks on her door on Saturday morning, prompting them to alert the authorities.

Upon receiving the information, the district judge, Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP), and other judicial officers swiftly arrived at the judge's official residence. It was revealed that she had been serving in Badaun for the past year, having been transferred from Ayodhya.

Identified as Jyotsna Rai, 27-year-old judge, was found hanging from a ceiling fan inside her official residence. The police have started an investigation after registering an FIR in the case. Prima Facie the police have called it a case of Suicide.
