The Chief Justice of India, D Y Chandrachud, extended a warm welcome to foreign delegates, including judges from Australia and Bangladesh, during their visit to the Supreme Court on Monday.

The occasion marked the Commonwealth Attorneys and Solicitors General Conference held on February 3, where legal luminaries from various nations convened to discuss matters of mutual interest.

Expressing delight at the presence of esteemed guests, Chief Justice Chandrachud acknowledged the significance of the international delegation's participation in enriching judicial discourse.

"We take a lot of pleasure in welcoming all the foreign delegates. Solicitor and attorney generals from different countries are present here," remarked the CJI, emphasizing the importance of fostering collaborative ties across borders.
