In a new, 2 Supreme Court Judges Justice BR Gavai and Justice Vikram Nath made a surprise visit to Supreme Court Canteen. both the judges visited the canteen with Senior Advocates Indira Jaisingh and Anand Grover. Both the judges had coffee and lunch at the canteen and had a long discussion over the table with advocates. 

While talking to people and media, Justice Gavai told that they came to the canteen to have their lunch.

Usually, judges refrain from socializing and openly coming among the public and especially lawyers. This is a new trend earlier set up by the present Chief Justice of India Dr. DY Chandrachud and now 2 more judges coming out of their chambers and interacting with advocates is certainly a new sign of a new India.

Recently the Supreme Court issued a notification also to conduct a hackathon where Justice Sanjay Kishan Kaul would interact with lawyers and take suggestions from them to improve the listing and filing of cases.
