The Supreme Court, has adjourned a batch of petitions to 15th Sep, 2022 filed by the students who had returned from Ukrain seeking the relief of allowing nearly 20,000 Indian students.

About 7 total matters were listed before the Bench by the students who had returned from Ukraine due to attack of Russia, to complete their medical education in India.  The matter listed today was heard by the bench comprising Justices Hemant Gupta and Sudhanshu Dhulia.

The Writ petitioners relied upon the report submitted by the the Lok Sabha Committee on External Affairs on August 3 wherein it was recommended to the Ministry of Health & Family Welfare to consider accommodating the students who had returned from Ukraine.
