Bollywood star Rakhi Sawant is embroiled in a legal dispute, with her former spouse Adil Khan Durrani disclosing that the Supreme Court has rejected her plea for bail. The court has mandated her presence at a Mumbai court within the next four weeks.

Durrani took to his Instagram stories on Monday, providing an update on Rakhi’s problems.  According to him, the Supreme court has explicitly stated that her bail plea will not be entertained unless she surrenders. Currently, Rakhi is residing in Dubai, avoiding the legal proceedings in India.

Rakhi attempted to secure pre-arrest release, but the Supreme Court rejected her request.

The discord between Rakhi and Durrani stems from their tumultuous relationship. Allegations from Rakhi, including claims of extramarital affairs and domestic abuse against Durrani, led to their separation. On February 7, 2023, Durrani was apprehended from Rakhi's residence and detained. After spending five months behind bars, he was eventually released. Currently, Durrani has entered matrimony with former Bigg Boss contestant Somi Khan.

According to reports, Durrani filed several FIRs against Rakhi and warned of her imminent imprisonment upon her return to India. He stated in March of this year that Rakhi's four-month stay in Dubai was a result of the legal disputes he had initiated against her.
