Yesterday, the Orissa High Court notified the designation of five lawyers as Senior Advocates.

The notification was issued in exercise of the High Court's powers under Section 16 of the Advocates Act, 1961 read with Rule 7(1) of the High Court of Orissa (Designation of Senior Advocate) Rules, 2019.

One of the five newly designated Senior Advocates is a woman.

The newly designated Senior Advocates are:

• Sunkuru Sudhakar Rao

• Rudra Prasad Kar

• Samir Kumar Mishra

• Prafulla Kumar Rath

• Pami Rath
