According to reports, he was found dead at a hotel in Igatpuri near Nashik, Maharashtra, where he was shooting.

The cause of his death appears to be a heart attack, but investigations are still ongoing, awaiting the post-mortem report. Nitesh Pandey's brother-in-law, Siddharth Nagar, expressed shock and mentioned that there was no known history of heart ailments.
