The High Court has granted relief to BJP State President Babulal Marandi in the case of his statement against former CM Hemant Soren. The court has stayed any legal action against him and has issued a notice to the defendant, seeking their reply.

Babulal's controversial remarks targeting the Soren family during an interview on a YouTube channel garnered attention. This led to a legal case being filed against him at the Simdega police station on August 25, 2023.

Today, the case came before High Court Justice AK Chaudhary for hearing. Representing him in court were senior advocates Ajit Kumar and Prashant Pallav, who presented arguments on his behalf.
