CJI Sanjiv Khanna Declines Oral Mentions for Urgent Listing, Directs Requests via Email or Written Letter

Today, Chief Justice of India Sanjiv Khanna clarified that he would not consider oral requests for urgent listing of matters. He advised that any requests for urgent listing should be submitted through emails or written letters outlining the urgency.

"No oral mentioning, send by emails or written letters," CJI Khanna told lawyers who were mentioning matters.
