The Chhattisgarh High Court has implemented a new process for receiving petitions via e-filing, utilizing the dedicated e-filing portal facilitated by the e-Committee of the Supreme Court.
The Registrar General of the Chhattisgarh High Court has issued a notification emphasizing the importance of e-filing. Henceforth, petitions concerning Company Appeal (COMA), Company Petition, Arbitration Request (ARBR), Arbitration Application (ARBAP), and Arbitration Appeal (ARBA) must be submitted through the designated e-portal.
Traditionally, filing a petition in the High Courts of India involved cumbersome paperwork, long queues, and considerable delays. The manual handling of documents not only consumed time and resources but also posed challenges to maintaining the integrity and confidentiality of sensitive information. Moreover, geographical constraints often deter litigants from pursuing legal remedies, especially those residing in remote areas.
