The Kerala High Court was placed on high alert on Tuesday following a bomb threat received via e-mail, which claimed that RDX had been planted within the court premises.
In response, police teams, along with a dog squad, thoroughly inspected the area but found no suspicious or dangerous materials, sources said.
Preliminary assessments suggest the threat may have been a hoax, according to police officials.
Although the High Court is currently observing its month-long summer vacation, four vacation benches—including one division bench and three single-judge benches—were in session today.
Despite the alert, court proceedings remained unaffected.
